Yoga Nidra Series

About the Event

Are you tired?

Are you exhausted?

If you answered yes to either of those questions then why not join Women Talk for their first Yoga Nidra series, exploring what's possible when we pause and make time to rest together.

This series will consist of seven one hour sessions dedicated to rest and self discovery.

Each session will be facilitated with love by Hazel Sage Middleton. Hazel is proud to be a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, wife, friend and colleague, who is currently living and working in the Middle East. Hazel, like so many women, was (and some might say still is) a compulsive doer, who is discovering a different way to be through her own Yoga Nidra practice.

Session Topics

Session 1 - Becoming - an invitation to be

Session 2 -  Finding your passion and purpose

Session 3 -  Abundance

Session 4 - Inner wisdom

Session 5 - Self Love

Session 6 - Leading from within

Session 7 - Becoming

Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep as it is commonly known, is an immensely powerful meditation technique, and one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain. While you rests comfortably, this systematic meditation takes you through the five layers of self, leaving you with a sense of wholeness.

The high levels of fear, stress and worry we are experiencing, results in even more activity in the prefrontal cortex of the brain. However too much of this can be linked with increased anxiety, poor sleep and general health problems, including a lowered immune system. This is where Yoga Nidra can help you experience and promote a sense of physical, emotional and mental relaxation.
